The
Canemaker is specialized with the manufacture in South
East Asia of high quality wicker furniture, which are designed
or recreated by the company itself. The furniture is imported
to Denmark and is delivered to domestic and consumers abroad
directly or through authorized dealers. All furniture must pass
a final quality check before delivery.
The company offers recreated designs of rare antique wicker,
contemporary architectural designs, and standard furniture.
The Paris-chair (1925) and the Charlottenborg-chair (1937) are
shown on the home page. Both chairs are designed by the world
famous Danish professor and architect MAA Arne Jacobsen. These
designs are manufactured by Newmate/The Canemaker under
licence.
